We’re working with a leading professional services firm to find an experienced Director to join their Global Accounting function. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine technical excellence with people leadership and client management at the highest level.

The Role

You’ll oversee the delivery of high-quality accounting services across a diverse client portfolio, leading a team and driving strong financial reporting outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and overseeing complex financial statements, management accounts and client reporting

• Leading, coaching and developing team members to deliver against deadlines and service standards

• Building and maintaining relationships with clients, auditors and third-party providers

• Collaborating across jurisdictions to provide accounting guidance and a consistent client experience

• Supporting business development with existing and prospective clients

• Presenting financial information to client boards, investors and stakeholders

• Ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations and managing risk for both clients and the firm

About You

• Qualified ACA or ACCA (or qualified by relevant experience)

• In-depth knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS

• Proven experience leading and developing accounting teams

• Strong track record managing complex engagements and senior client relationships

• Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex accounting matters for all audiences

• Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
