We are recruiting a Senior Trust Manager with at least ten years’ relevant trust industry experience to join an established, privately owned and independent fiduciary services firm in Guernsey. This is a senior leadership role offering the chance to manage a diverse client portfolio and drive team performance in a high-quality, client-focused environment.

The Role

This position involves team oversight, complex portfolio management, and client relationship development, alongside responsibility for improving operational efficiency, accuracy, and profitability. You will act as a key bridge between administrators and senior leadership, providing solutions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining excellent client relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing a team of trust and company administrators

• Taking ownership of a complex portfolio of clients and delivering high standards of service

• Driving team profitability through efficient reporting and performance analysis

• Ensuring all regulatory requirements are met and adhered to

• Supporting the training, development, and performance review of team members

• Identifying and resolving complex operational and managerial issues

What We’re Looking For

• A minimum of 10 years’ relevant trust industry experience

• A relevant professional qualification (STEP or CGI/ICSA preferred)

• Significant management experience is essential

• Strong commercial awareness and a proven record of delivering excellent client service

• Sound knowledge of trust and company administration, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements
