The Role

This is a senior, client-facing position with real responsibility from day one. You will oversee a compliance team and hold named regulatory roles, including MLRO, MLCO and CO across multiple licensees. Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a key part in shaping and delivering the firm’s compliance strategy.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Holding MLRO, MLCO and CO positions for various licensees

• Delivering high-quality compliance advice and support to a broad client base

• Conducting compliance health checks, drafting and reviewing policies and procedures

• Responding to ad-hoc and routine regulatory queries

• Supporting clients during regulatory visits and attending their offices as required

• Delivering compliance training internally and externally

• Line managing and developing members of the compliance team

• Supporting business development activity, including identifying opportunities to grow and expand client relationships

About You

• Previous experience in a senior compliance role, with comprehensive knowledge of the Guernsey regulatory environment

• Previous MLRO, MLCO or CO experience

• A relevant professional qualification from a recognised body (e.g. ICA), or equivalent qualification by experience

• Proven ability to lead, develop and manage a team

• High levels of integrity and professionalism when handling sensitive matters

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently under pressure, while remaining a collaborative team player
