Altitude Recruitment

A rare opportunity to step in at the ground floor and shape something genuinely new. We’re working with a well-established, internationally active group that is centralising its AEOI function for the first time, and they need an experienced, credible leader to own it from day one.

The Role

This position requires a blend of deep understanding of global tax transparency regulations, compliance expertise, project management, and hands-on experience with technology solutions in the financial services industry. It is not a role for a generalist.

Reporting into the Head of Group Operations, with dotted lines to regional MDs, you will:

  • Lead and own the central AEOI function across the group’s full jurisdictional footprint, including crown dependencies, Cayman, Luxembourg, Curaçao, and more

  • Define and deliver the technical AEOI strategy across FATCA, CRS, and broader frameworks

  • Build out the team, including two Assistant Manager level hires who will report into you

  • Drive automation and process improvement, moving the function away from manual, spreadsheet-led approaches

  • Act as the senior subject matter expert and credible point of contact for MDs, regional stakeholders, and external parties

  • Lead change management across business units to bring local teams with you

What You Must Bring

  • Strong, current technical AEOI expertise, ideally with a trust/fiduciary background (trust AEOI classifications are more complex than banking, and the client knows the difference)

  • Proven ability to run a full AEOI cycle independently, no handholding required

  • Track record of stakeholder management at MD or senior leadership level

  • Experience building or scaling a team

  • A genuine appetite for automation and process improvement

  • Multi-jurisdictional exposure, particularly across crown dependencies

Nice to Have

  • Exposure across multiple business or entity types

Ways of Working

Crown dependency locations are preferred (Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man). UK-based candidates will be considered where there is strong offshore fiduciary experience and flexibility to travel and rotate across offices. The role sits within a shared services centre environment and operates as a central function interfacing with local and regional offices globally.
