A leading offshore law firm is seeking an experienced senior lawyer to join its highly regarded International Trusts and Private Client practice in Guernsey. This is a genuinely senior role offering access to complex, high-value work and a clear pathway for progression.

The team operates cohesively across multiple offices, combining non-contentious and advisory expertise with specialist skills in private wealth structuring and dispute resolution.

The Role

You will advise high net worth families, trust companies and family offices on the establishment, management and restructuring of offshore asset holding structures, as well as estate and succession planning across multiple jurisdictions. Responsibilities include:

• Providing expert legal advice on Guernsey trusts, foundations and related structures

• Advising on governance matters for families and trustees across generations

• Collaborating with dispute resolution and corporate colleagues on trust-related and private funds matters

• Supervising and developing junior members of the team

• Playing an active role in business development, client proposals and networking

About You

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister, preferably in a common law jurisdiction

• Minimum 8 years’ post-qualification experience in a relevant practice, with some offshore experience

• Ideally STEP qualified

• Strong organisational, communication and presentation skills

• Commercially minded with the ability to manage matters effectively under pressure
