The business provides bespoke, expert solutions across trust and company administration, managed services, investments, property management, and fund administration. Known for building long-lasting, multi-generational client relationships across both individual and corporate client bases.

The Role

A senior leadership opportunity overseeing the client accounting function for a portfolio of approximately 850 entities, spanning trusts, corporate structures, and funds. Reporting to the COO, the successful candidate will drive departmental strategy, lead cross-jurisdictional teams, and ensure the highest standards of financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing group financial reporting and tax compliance, including preparation of financial statements, quarterly NAV reports, and loan interest certificates

• Managing external audit processes for GFSC-regulated clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory deadlines under IFRS and UK GAAP (FRS 102)

• Leading and mentoring accounting and bookkeeping teams across jurisdictions, setting KPIs and managing performance

• Ensuring compliance with Guernsey Tax, UK Corporation Tax, VAT, FATCA, CRS, and Economic Substance requirements

• Implementing governance frameworks and deploying digital accounting tools to drive efficiency and mitigate risk

What We’re Looking For

• ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualified

• Strong background in client accounting within the trust sector, with expertise in IFRS and GAAP

• Proven experience leading financial teams and driving performance

• Meticulous attention to detail with excellent stakeholder communication skills
