We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established fiduciary and corporate services group in Guernsey, offering exposure to a broad range of wealth management disciplines.

The Role

Reporting to the board, this is an integral position within a busy accounting team responsible for a large portfolio of trust and corporate structures. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation and review of financial statements and tax compliance for approximately 500 entities

• Ensuring regulatory and legal compliance across all financial activities and reporting

• Supervising and mentoring junior team members, setting KPIs and managing performance

• Managing the external audit process for GFSC-regulated clients (IFRS and UK GAAP/FRS 102)

• Assisting with Guernsey Tax, UK Corporation Tax and VAT returns

• Supporting regulatory filings including FATCA, CRS and Economic Substance

• Contributing to the implementation of governance frameworks and digital accounting tools

What You’ll Need

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified

• Minimum 5 years’ experience ideally in the trust and fiduciary sector

• Strong understanding of IFRS and GAAP within a client accounting context

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work on own initiative and adapt to changing priorities
